When you are looking at venues that have caught your eye to seal the deal on your wedding day it can be overwhelming and we may forget exactly what we should ask... stress no more I have noted below some important details that may help you while you are doing your walk through.
What time can my ceremony start?
How many guest does the venue allow?
Do you offer both ceremony and reception to be held in the same space?
Can myself or my decorating team set up day before?
Do I need to clear all my items in the venue at the end of my event?
Can I hold a rehearsal with my wedding party & officiant prior to the wedding day?
Do I need to purchase insurance and if so, what is recommended for your venue?
Do I need to have a hired day of coordinator or is there one supplied?
Can my guest park their vehicles on the premises over night?
Do you include tables, chairs, linens, plates, cups and cutlery?
If any, what vendors do you supply for events? ex: bartender, coordinator, planner, DJ, photographer, baker, chef.
Can I include fake petals, rice or other items to have thrown during the ceremony?
Is there a bylaw noise restriction and if so, is there a timeline?
Is there somewhere my wedding party can get ready and wait for the ceremony to start?
Do we have permission to take photos on venue property?
If I need to hire outside vendors, is there a kitchen for bar and dinner prep?
Can I use real candles?
Is smoking allowed on property, and if so how far away/where is it from the doors?
Is there an emergency contact for the venue incase I need to get in touch with someone?
Does your venue allow larger transportation for us to arrive/leave in? ex: limo or bus.
Is there somewhere to leave my personal items safe or will I need to leave them in a vehicle/at a table.
Can I pay on a payment plan or do you require a full payment by a certain date?
